Animation Image Bank

These two images show how the effect of animation can be used in two completely different ways. The first image shows a busy street in the middle of a vastly populated city. The image moves quickly with lights creating a blur of movement. These components form together in order to reflect the extremely kinetic way of life within the city. The second image however has the opposite effect. The lone swing moving from side to side causes the image to appear vacant and abandoned than a static image would have the ability to show. The image without the animation may appear bland, however the slight movement gives the image an overall deeper tone.

Animation is a technique which often stitches together images in a sequence that forms a repeated clip. These techniques have a lot to contribute to the image. The images above show how the effect can be used to show journey by taking the image into different locations, how growth can be shown through a time lapse effect, how an image can be given life through small changes and so on. The idea is that these images would not be able to convey the effects and messages that they originally want to get across.
